			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The SASD Web site was design and developed as part of the complete brand picture that we created for the school. The site showcases student work; provides information about the school, its students and event; and fits perfectly in the brand image created to reflect the Japanese heritage of the namesake and benefactor, Shintaro Akatsu. The detail below shows the subtle use of color and the stylized Japanese wave pattern. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Type Directors Club (TDC) is an international organization for all people who are devoted to excellence in typography, both in print and on screen. </p>
<p>Working with the board of directors to redesign <a href="http://TDC.org" target="_blank">TDC.org</a> was as challenging and rewarding an experience a designer can have. The resulting design, which was based on <a href="http://rogerblack.com/" target="_blank">Roger Black&#8217;s</a> identity for the Club, features bold, clean lines and large images of award winning typography.  The site uses WordPress for easy content management. </p>

<p>The site is built on the <a href="http://wordpress.org" target="_blank">WordPress</a> BLOGing/content management system and is easily updated using the WordPress CMS interface. </p>
<p>The site also features a <a href="http://millerwhiteschool.org/?page_id=130" target="_blank">series of videos</a> created by the Brian Miller Design Group and <a href="http://veryniceindustries.com/" target="_blank">Very Nice Industries</a>. These short-form interviews with type and education experts like <a href="http://www.scottandnix.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc" target="_blank">Charlie Nix</a>, <a href="http://grahamclifforddesign.com/" target="_blank">Graham Clifford</a>, <a href="http://alexanderwwhite.com/" target="_blank">Alex White</a>, Anne Twome and Rosanne S. Guararra act as an invaluable resource to high school and college art students.  </p>
